AISI 301 and Related Stainless Steels
VerifiedmetalAISI 301 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel (17-18% Cr, 6-8% Ni) with high work-hardening capacity, used for springs, fasteners, and aerospace components requiring excellent corrosion resistance and moderate strength. Cold-working tempers (1/4 Hard through Full Hard) provide yield strengths from ~200 to 1,200 MPa with retained ductility, while Annealed condition offers lower strength for formability and subsequent hardening.

Industry-Specific
RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
