ceramic

· TaSbRu

TaSbRu is an intermetallic ceramic compound combining tantalum, antimony, and ruthenium—a refractory material system designed for high-temperature and extreme-environment applications. This is an experimental or specialized composition rather than a commodity ceramic; materials in this family are investigated for aerospace, nuclear, and wear-resistant applications where conventional ceramics or superalloys reach their performance limits. The combination of heavy refractory elements suggests potential for thermal stability, hardness, and resistance to oxidation, making it relevant to engineers exploring next-generation materials for ultra-high-temperature structures or specialized coatings.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
