Velo3D Inconel 625 as-built is the maker's grade of the nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy UNS N06625 printed by laser powder bed fusion, with no heat treatment after printing. Rapid solidification gives a fine cellular-dendritic structure with columnar grains along the build direction and niobium and molybdenum segregated to cell boundaries, which makes its properties anisotropic. Parts carry residual stress and a rough surface. They are normally stress relieved before removal from the build plate, often followed by annealing or hot isostatic pressing. Uses include heat exchangers, manifolds and combustion hardware for chemical, marine and aerospace service. Every value on this page is read from Velo3D's own material data sheet — quoted, cited and dated — and is the maker's statement about printed material, not a measurement by MatWorld; none has yet been reviewed by a person.
