Renishaw In625-0402 is that maker's grade of Inconel 625, a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy, for laser powder bed fusion. Rapid solidification gives a fine cellular structure with niobium and molybdenum segregated to the cell walls, and columnar grains along the build direction make properties differ between orientations. Parts carry high residual stress, so they are stress relieved before removal from the plate and often solution annealed or hot isostatically pressed, then machined where the rough surface matters. Printed parts serve as corrosion- and heat-resistant components with complex internal passages, such as heat exchangers, manifolds and combustion hardware. Every value on this page is read from Renishaw's own material data sheet — quoted, cited and dated — and is the maker's statement about printed material, not a measurement by MatWorld; none has yet been reviewed by a person.
