3D Systems LaserForm Ni625 (A) is a grade of Inconel 625, a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy, made by laser powder bed fusion. As printed, it has a fine cellular solidification structure with columnar grains along the build direction, so its properties differ between build directions. Parts carry residual stress and need supports, so they are usually stress relieved on the build plate, often hot isostatically pressed or solution annealed, and machined where the rough surface matters. Typical parts are corrosion- and heat-resistant heat exchangers, manifolds, combustion hardware and chemical processing components with internal channels. Every value on this page is read from 3D Systems' own material data sheet — quoted, cited and dated — and is the maker's statement about printed material, not a measurement by MatWorld; none has yet been reviewed by a person.
