AZ91E is a high-strength magnesium alloy containing aluminum and zinc alloying elements, widely used in aerospace and automotive applications where weight reduction is critical. The T6 temper (solution heat-treated and artificially aged) provides improved strength and dimensional stability, with typical density around 1.81 g/cm³ and Young's modulus approximately 45 GPa, making it suitable for moderate-temperature structural components operating up to approximately 150°C.
