· JVASP-14532· YbP

YbP is a rare-earth monopnictide ceramic compound composed of ytterbium and phosphorus, belonging to the rock-salt structured family of materials. This is primarily a research and advanced materials compound studied for its electronic and thermal properties in condensed-matter physics and materials science applications. While not yet widely deployed in mainstream industry, YbP and related rare-earth pnictides are of interest for potential use in thermoelectric devices, semiconducting applications, and high-pressure physics research where the unique electronic structure of rare-earth compounds offers advantages over conventional ceramics.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
