TiCsON2 is a ceramic compound combining titanium carbide, cesium, and nitrogen phases—a research-stage material synthesized to explore enhanced hardness and refractory properties beyond conventional titanium carbides. While not yet in widespread industrial production, materials in this titanium carbonitride family are investigated for extreme-temperature applications and wear-resistant coatings where conventional cemented carbides or TiN coatings reach their performance limits.
