Ti-6Al-6V-2Sn STA
VerifiedmetalTi-6Al-6V-2Sn is a near-alpha titanium alloy containing 6% aluminum, 6% vanadium, and 2% tin, designed for elevated-temperature aerospace applications requiring high strength retention to approximately 600°C. The STA (solution-treated and aged) condition provides a controlled microstructure with excellent creep resistance, high yield and tensile strength, and good fracture toughness, making it suitable for compressor blades, casings, and other critical jet engine and airframe components.
