Tb2S3 is a rare-earth sulfide ceramic compound composed of terbium and sulfur, belonging to the family of lanthanide chalcogenides. This material is primarily of research and development interest rather than a mature commercial product, investigated for its potential in high-temperature structural applications, optoelectronic devices, and specialized solid-state chemistry. The rare-earth sulfide family is explored for thermal stability, refractory properties, and potential use in niche aerospace and materials science applications where conventional ceramics may be insufficient.

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
