Ta3Ru is an intermetallic ceramic compound combining tantalum and ruthenium, representing a high-density refractory material system. This composition falls within the research domain of advanced refractory intermetallics, explored for extreme-temperature applications where conventional superalloys reach their thermal limits. Ta3Ru and related tantalum–ruthenium phases are of interest in aerospace and materials science research for potential use in ultra-high-temperature structural applications, though practical engineering adoption remains limited compared to established refractory alternatives.

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
