SmTmHg₂ is an intermetallic ceramic compound combining samarium, thulium, and mercury—a rare-earth mercury-based material primarily explored in condensed matter physics and materials research rather than established industrial production. This compound belongs to the family of rare-earth intermetallics and is notable for its potential in studying electronic properties, magnetic behavior, and phase stability in high-density systems; however, it remains largely a research material without widespread commercial engineering applications due to mercury's volatility and toxicity constraints.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
