· JVASP-39030· Sm2MgRu

Sm2MgRu is an intermetallic ceramic compound combining samarium, magnesium, and ruthenium—a rare-earth based material belonging to the family of complex oxides or Heusler-type intermetallics. This is primarily a research material explored for its potential in high-temperature applications and electronic/magnetic devices, rather than a widely commercialized engineering ceramic. The material's combination of rare-earth and transition-metal constituents suggests interest in tailoring mechanical stiffness and thermal stability for specialized aerospace, energy, or quantum applications where conventional ceramics fall short.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
