ScBeV2 is an experimental intermetallic compound composed of scandium, beryllium, and vanadium, representing a research-phase material in the family of lightweight refractory alloys. While not yet established in mainstream industrial production, this material family is being investigated for applications requiring high stiffness-to-weight ratios and elevated-temperature stability. The combination of beryllium's low density with scandium and vanadium's refractory properties positions ScBeV2 as a candidate for advanced aerospace and defense applications where conventional titanium or nickel-based alloys may be inadequate.

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
