· JVASP-136575· RbMgF

RbMgF is a ternary fluoride ceramic composed of rubidium, magnesium, and fluorine. This material belongs to the family of ionic fluoride compounds, which are of primary interest in research contexts for optical, electrochemical, and solid-state applications rather than established industrial production. The rubidium-magnesium fluoride system is investigated for potential use in UV-transparent optical windows, solid electrolytes for battery systems, and as precursor materials in fluoride glass research, where the combination of light cations and strong F–metal bonds offers advantages in thermal stability and ionic conductivity compared to oxide ceramics.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
