· JVASP-1669· RbErS2

RbErS2 is an ternary ceramic compound composed of rubidium, erbium, and sulfur, belonging to the family of rare-earth sulfide ceramics. This material is primarily of research interest rather than established in commercial production, with potential applications in optoelectronics and solid-state physics where rare-earth compounds are explored for luminescent, photonic, or thermal properties. Engineers would consider this material in advanced materials development for specialized photonic devices, thermal management systems, or next-generation electronic components where rare-earth ceramic compositions offer unique electromagnetic or optical characteristics unavailable in conventional ceramics.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
