Bambu Lab Bambu PC is a polycarbonate filament grade printed by fused deposition modeling. Polycarbonate is extruded hot and shrinks on cooling, so prints build residual stress and tend to warp or split between layers unless made on a heated bed in an enclosed build space. The filament absorbs moisture and is dried before printing. Parts are anisotropic, weakest across layer interfaces, with visible layer lines and some porosity between roads, and they lack the clarity of molded polycarbonate. They are used for tough functional prototypes, enclosures, brackets, jigs and fixtures that need more impact and heat resistance than common filament plastics. Every value on this page is read from Bambu Lab's own material data sheet — quoted, cited and dated — and is the maker's statement about printed material, not a measurement by MatWorld; none has yet been reviewed by a person.
