Bambu Lab Bambu PC is a polycarbonate filament grade for fused deposition modeling, here in the dry condition. PC needs a high nozzle temperature, a heated bed and ideally an enclosed chamber, because thermal shrinkage makes larger parts prone to warping and layer splitting. Printed parts are weaker across layer interfaces than along the extruded roads, and layer lines leave them translucent rather than clear. The filament absorbs moisture and is normally dried before printing to avoid bubbling and poor layer bonding. It is used for tough functional parts such as enclosures, brackets, jigs and fixtures, including ones exposed to moderate heat. Every value on this page is read from Bambu Lab's own material data sheet — quoted, cited and dated — and is the maker's statement about printed material, not a measurement by MatWorld; none has yet been reviewed by a person.
