PmYIr2

PmYIr2 is an intermetallic ceramic compound combining promethium, yttrium, and iridium elements, representing a specialized high-density material in the rare-earth intermetallic family. This composition suggests potential applications in high-temperature or radiation-resistant environments, though it appears to be a research-stage material with limited established industrial deployment. The combination of rare-earth and refractory metal constituents positions it for niche applications where extreme thermal stability, density, or nuclear compatibility are critical design drivers.
