Raise3D Hyper Speed PLA is a polylactic acid filament grade printed by fused deposition modeling, formulated for extrusion at higher print speeds than standard PLA. Like other extruded PLA, parts are built from fused beads and are anisotropic, weakest across layers, where strength depends on interlayer bonding. It shrinks and warps little and needs no heated chamber, but parts show layer lines, stair-stepping on curved surfaces and marks from supports under overhangs. Printed parts serve as rapid prototypes, concept and display models, and lightly loaded jigs and fixtures kept near room temperature. Every value on this page is read from Raise3D's own material data sheet — quoted, cited and dated — and is the maker's statement about printed material, not a measurement by MatWorld; none has yet been reviewed by a person.
