Stratasys Antero 800NA printed by fused deposition modeling is a natural-colored PEKK filament grade in the as-built condition, without post-print heat treatment. Extruded into a heated build chamber, it forms parts whose interlayer bonds make them weaker and less ductile in the build direction than within the layers. As-built surfaces show layer lines and stair-stepping, overhangs need removable support, and mating faces are usually machined. Parts are used for aerospace ducts, brackets and enclosures exposed to heat and chemicals, and for jigs, fixtures and tooling. Every value on this page is read from Stratasys' own material data sheet — quoted, cited and dated — and is the maker's statement about printed material, not a measurement by MatWorld; none has yet been reviewed by a person.
