ceramic

· P2Ru

P2Ru is a ceramic compound in the ruthenium phosphide family, combining phosphorus and ruthenium in a stoichiometric 2:1 ratio. This material belongs to a class of metal phosphide ceramics that have attracted research attention for their potential as electrocatalysts, wear-resistant coatings, and high-temperature structural materials. While not widely established in mainstream engineering applications, P2Ru and related ruthenium phosphides are being investigated as alternatives to precious-metal catalysts and as components in corrosion-resistant systems due to ruthenium's inherent chemical stability.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
