Markforged Nylon White is an unfilled nylon filament from Markforged, printed by fused deposition modeling and also usable as the matrix for the maker's continuous fibre reinforcement. Parts are built from fused beads, so they show layer lines and some porosity between roads, and they are weaker and less tough across layers than along them. The filament absorbs moisture readily and must be kept dry before and during printing to avoid poor surfaces and weakened parts, and overhangs need supports. Printed parts serve as jigs, fixtures, non-marring tooling, functional prototypes and tough, slightly flexible end-use components. Every value on this page is read from Markforged's own material data sheet — quoted, cited and dated — and is the maker's statement about printed material, not a measurement by MatWorld; none has yet been reviewed by a person.
