NdPIr is a ceramic compound combining neodymium with platinum and iridium, belonging to the family of rare-earth intermetallic ceramics. This material is primarily of research and specialized industrial interest, valued for applications requiring extreme thermal stability, corrosion resistance, and electrical or magnetic properties derived from its rare-earth and noble-metal constituents. It represents an advanced materials class used where conventional ceramics or superalloys cannot meet simultaneous demands for high-temperature performance, chemical inertness, and functional (magnetic or electronic) behavior.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
