MoKr is a molybdenum-based alloy combining molybdenum with chromium, designed to provide enhanced hardness and wear resistance compared to unalloyed molybdenum. This material is employed in high-temperature applications and wear-critical components where corrosion and thermal cycling resistance are important, such as in aerospace, tooling, and heavy industrial equipment.
