· JVASP-38872· MgScHg2

MgScHg2 is an intermetallic ceramic compound combining magnesium, scandium, and mercury in a defined stoichiometric ratio. This is a research-phase material studied within the broader family of ternary intermetallic ceramics; it is not in commercial production and remains primarily of academic interest for exploring phase stability and mechanical behavior in complex metal-ceramic systems. The material's potential lies in applications requiring high stiffness and density in specialized aerospace or high-temperature environments, though practical deployment would require further development of synthesis routes, thermal stability, and oxidation resistance.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
