KCu4S3 is a mixed-valent copper sulfide compound belonging to the family of ternary metal sulfides. This material exhibits both metallic and semiconducting characteristics due to its complex crystal structure and mixed copper oxidation states, making it of interest in solid-state chemistry and materials research.
