Inconel 718 STA
VerifiedmetalInconel 718 STA is a nickel-chromium-iron precipitation-hardening superalloy solution heat-treated and aged to provide tensile strength around 1,380 MPa (200 ksi) with excellent creep resistance up to approximately 650°C, used primarily in jet engine turbine disks, fasteners, and high-temperature aerospace components. The STA condition balances high yield strength, good fatigue resistance, and toughness suitable for critical rotating and static load applications in extreme thermal environments.
