Markforged Inconel 625 is the maker's grade of the nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy printed by bound metal deposition, extruded as a metal-powder-filled polymer filament. The green part is debound and furnace-sintered, shrinking as it densifies, so it is printed oversize. It ends with a sintered grain structure and some closed residual porosity, without the melt-pool structure and residual stress of laser-fused parts. Surfaces show layer lines, and critical features are usually machined. Parts are used for corrosion- and heat-resistant fixtures, tooling, manifolds and low-volume replacement parts in chemical processing, marine and energy equipment. Every value on this page is read from Markforged's own material data sheet — quoted, cited and dated — and is the maker's statement about printed material, not a measurement by MatWorld; none has yet been reviewed by a person.
