Custom 455 Stainless Steel
VerifiedmetalCustom 455 is a precipitation-hardened martensitic stainless steel (17-4 PH derivative) designed for high-strength aerospace and defense applications requiring excellent corrosion resistance combined with tensile strengths exceeding 1,400 MPa. The H1000 and H950 conditions represent peak-aged tempers providing optimal strength and elastic property stability at operating temperatures up to approximately 480°C.
