CP Titanium Grade 2 (L-PBF, EOS Titanium TiCP Grade 2)

EOS Titanium TiCP Grade 2 is a commercially pure Grade 2 titanium powder grade processed by laser powder bed fusion under argon. Rapid solidification gives a fine acicular alpha microstructure, so as-built parts are stronger and less ductile than annealed wrought material, with residual stress and a rough surface. Parts are usually stress relieved before removal from the build plate and supports, and may be hot isostatically pressed and machined or blasted. Typical uses are corrosion-resistant fluid-handling and chemical processing components, heat exchangers and lightweight parts with complex internal channels.
