7050 Aluminum T6151 is a high-strength Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy in the overaged temper condition, providing ultimate tensile strength of ~495–570 MPa with improved stress-corrosion cracking (SCC) resistance and fracture toughness compared to peak-hardened T6 condition. Specified in military applications including aircraft structures and fasteners where damage tolerance and resistance to sustained-load SCC are critical requirements.
