6061 Aluminum T62
Verifiedmetal6061-T62 is a heat-treatable aluminum alloy with magnesium and silicon as primary alloying elements, solution heat-treated and artificially aged to T62 condition for moderate strength and good corrosion resistance suitable for aerospace structural components, fasteners, and general engineering applications. This temper provides controlled strength levels with adequate ductility and toughness, commonly supplied as rolled, drawn, or cold-finished rod and special shapes per AMS 4115/4116 specifications.
