17-4PH Stainless Steel H900
Verifiedmetal17-4PH stainless steel is a precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel (Fe-Cr-Ni-Cu-Nb) used extensively in aerospace and high-performance applications for components requiring high strength, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability to approximately 600°C. The H900 condition, achieved through solution annealing followed by precipitation hardening at 480°C, delivers yield strengths around 1,310 MPa and ultimate tensile strengths near 1,450 MPa with moderate ductility, making it suitable for critical fasteners, pump shafts, compressor components, and bearing races.

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
