YB2Ru is an intermetallic ceramic compound combining ytterbium and ruthenium, belonging to the family of rare-earth transition metal ceramics. This material is primarily of research and development interest, investigated for high-temperature structural applications where oxidation resistance and mechanical stability are critical. YB2Ru represents a class of advanced ceramics being explored for aerospace and nuclear contexts, where its refractory nature and metallic-ceramic hybrid characteristics could offer advantages over conventional superalloys or monolithic ceramics in demanding thermal and mechanical environments.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
