TmIr is an intermetallic ceramic compound combining thulium (Tm) and iridium (Ir), belonging to the family of rare-earth transition-metal ceramics. This material exists primarily in research and development contexts, where it is investigated for its potential high-temperature stability, hardness, and electronic properties characteristic of rare-earth iridides. Engineers considering TmIr would be exploring advanced functional or structural applications where the combination of rare-earth and noble-metal chemistry offers unique performance at elevated temperatures or in specialized electronic/magnetic contexts.

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
