Tl5Se2Br is a thallium-based chalcohalide ceramic compound combining thallium, selenium, and bromine elements. This material is primarily of research interest for optoelectronic and infrared applications, particularly in spectroscopy and nonlinear optical systems where its mixed-anion composition can enable tunable bandgaps and optical transmission windows. While not widely deployed in commodity applications, thallium chalcohalides represent an emerging class of materials for advanced photonic devices where their chemical flexibility offers potential advantages over traditional single-anion ceramics.

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
