Sc₂PdRu is an intermetallic ceramic compound combining scandium, palladium, and ruthenium. This material exists primarily in research and development contexts as an experimental high-performance intermetallic, where the combination of transition metals with scandium is being explored for applications demanding high stiffness, elevated-temperature stability, and oxidation resistance. The palladium and ruthenium additions enhance corrosion resistance and thermal properties, making this compound of interest to researchers investigating next-generation materials for extreme environments where conventional superalloys or ceramics face limitations.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
