Sc2BeNb is an experimental intermetallic compound combining scandium, beryllium, and niobium. This material belongs to the family of lightweight refractory intermetallics being explored for high-temperature structural applications where weight savings and thermal stability are critical. While not yet established in mainstream production, materials in this compositional family are of research interest for aerospace and energy applications where the combination of low density with high-temperature capability could offer performance advantages over conventional superalloys.

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
