· Sb2Ir

Sb₂Ir is an intermetallic ceramic compound combining antimony and iridium, belonging to the family of refractory intermetallics used in high-temperature and extreme-environment applications. This material is primarily of research and specialized industrial interest, valued for its potential in high-temperature structural applications where traditional ceramics or metallic alloys reach their performance limits. Engineers consider Sb₂Ir when designing systems requiring thermal stability, chemical inertness, and mechanical integrity at elevated temperatures, particularly in aerospace, catalysis, and materials research contexts where cost and manufacturing complexity are secondary to performance.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
