RuTeO₂N is an experimental ceramic compound combining ruthenium, tellurium, oxygen, and nitrogen—a complex oxynitride belonging to the family of multinary transition metal ceramics. While not yet widely commercialized, this material class is being investigated for electronic, catalytic, and electrochemical applications where the mixed-valence ruthenium centers and nitrogen doping could enable enhanced conductivity or catalytic activity compared to simple oxide ceramics.
