ReTeOFN

ReTeOFN is a rare-earth tellurite oxide fluoride ceramic compound combining tellurium oxide with rare-earth and fluoride constituents. This material is primarily of research interest for photonic and optical applications, where its unique refractive properties and potential for transparent ceramic fabrication make it relevant to wavelength-selective devices and specialty glass alternatives. The fluoride-tellurite composition positions it as a candidate for infrared transmission windows and potentially laser host media, though it remains largely in the experimental phase compared to established optical ceramics.
