Rb2TlInBr6 is a halide perovskite ceramic compound containing rubidium, thallium, indium, and bromine. This is a research-phase material being investigated for optoelectronic and photonic applications due to the tunable bandgap and light-absorption properties characteristic of the halide perovskite family. While not yet in widespread commercial use, compounds in this class are of significant interest as alternatives to lead-based perovskites for next-generation solar cells, radiation detectors, and light-emitting devices.
