· JVASP-21248· Rb2Sb4S7

Rb2Sb4S7 is a quaternary sulfide ceramic compound belonging to the metal chalcogenide family, combining rubidium, antimony, and sulfur in a layered crystal structure. This material is primarily of research interest for optoelectronic and solid-state ionic applications rather than established industrial use, with potential relevance to superionic conductors, photovoltaic absorbers, and advanced thermal management systems. Engineers would consider this compound for emerging technologies where its sulfide chemistry offers tunable band gaps, ion transport pathways, or thermal properties distinct from conventional oxides.
