PmDy is a ceramic compound combining promethium and dysprosium, representing a rare-earth ceramic material system. This material belongs to the family of rare-earth ceramics that are primarily investigated for high-temperature structural and functional applications where thermal stability and radiation resistance are critical. PmDy is notable in nuclear and aerospace research contexts where the combination of rare-earth elements provides potential advantages in thermal conductivity, radiation hardness, and phase stability at extreme conditions compared to conventional ceramic alternatives.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
