ceramic

· P3Ir

P3Ir is an intermetallic ceramic compound combining iridium with a transition metal in a cubic crystal structure, representing a high-performance ceramic material class valued for extreme environments. This material is primarily investigated for aerospace and high-temperature applications where exceptional stiffness and thermal stability are required, such as in engine components and structural supports operating under severe thermal and mechanical loads. P3Ir compounds are notable for their combination of ceramic hardness with metallic-like elastic properties, making them candidates for applications where conventional ceramics or superalloys reach their performance limits.

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
