· MgIrOFN

MgIrOFN is an experimental mixed-metal oxide ceramic containing magnesium, iridium, oxygen, and fluorine—a rare combination designed for high-performance, chemically demanding environments. This research-phase material belongs to the family of complex oxyfluoride ceramics, which are investigated for their potential to combine refractory properties with enhanced chemical resistance and thermal stability beyond conventional single-metal ceramics. While not yet widely adopted in production, materials in this class are of interest to researchers exploring next-generation catalysts, corrosion-resistant coatings, and high-temperature structural applications where both oxide and fluoride-phase stability are advantageous.

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
