Li3VFe3O8 is a mixed-metal oxide ceramic compound containing lithium, vanadium, and iron in a spinel-related crystal structure. This material is primarily of research interest for energy storage applications, particularly as a cathode material for lithium-ion batteries, where the multi-valent transition metals (vanadium and iron) enable electrochemical charge transfer and the lithium content facilitates ion transport.
