· KNbON2

KNbON2 is an oxynitride ceramic compound containing potassium, niobium, oxygen, and nitrogen. This material belongs to the family of metal oxynitrides, which are research-phase ceramics designed to combine the thermal and chemical stability of oxides with the hardness and refractory properties of nitrides. While not yet widely commercialized, oxynitride ceramics like KNbON2 are being investigated for high-temperature structural applications and as potential alternatives to traditional oxide or nitride ceramics where intermediate property profiles or enhanced performance is needed.

Regulatory Screening

Environmental

RoHS, REACH, and Prop 65 statuses are validated against official substance lists (ECHA SVHC Candidate List, OEHHA Prop 65, RoHS Annex II). Other regulations are estimated from composition and material classification. All screening is a starting point for due diligence — always verify with your supplier before making compliance decisions.
