Colibrium Additive CoCrMo in the as-built condition is the maker's cobalt-chromium-molybdenum grade printed by laser powder bed fusion, with no heat treatment after the build. Rapid solidification gives a fine cellular structure with columnar grains along the build direction, so strength is high, ductility is limited and properties differ between build directions. Parts carry residual stress, need supports and have rough surfaces, so stress relief, support removal and finishing usually follow. The grade is used for dental frameworks, orthopaedic components and wear- and corrosion-resistant industrial parts. Every value on this page is read from Colibrium Additive's own material data sheet — quoted, cited and dated — and is the maker's statement about printed material, not a measurement by MatWorld; none has yet been reviewed by a person.
